World Cocktail Day: Make your own at home

Every year, on the 13th of May, It’s celebrated the ‘World Cocktail Day‘.

First of all, why is this celebration set on the 13th of May?

On this day in 1806, the newspaper called The Balance and Columbian Repository published the first known definition of the word ‘cocktail’.

A stimulating liquor, composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, waters, and bitters.

Let’s celebrate!

As this year, we are worldwide encouraged to stay safe in our homes, why not taking the chance to celebrate this date with a home made cocktail?

In the video, I show you how to make a Rum Sour with ingredients that you can easly find in your kitchen and in less then 5 minutes.

If you do not have Rum at home, you can use the same recipe and switch the Rum for any other spirit.

When we will be able to finally gather together and have a drink with our friends, I suggest you to visit some of the coolest bars in London.
